Je vais faire un échange de 6 mois à l'Université de Nottingham à Ningbo en Chine. J'aurais tout simplement pu prendre un billet Aller-Retour pour Ningbo, ou Shanghai (à 2h de train), mais non j'ai décidé d'y aller en Transsibérien à partir de Moscou pour un périple de 7000 km et 6 jours jusqu'à Pekin, puis d'aller vagabonder dans le sud de la Chine pendant 2 semaines. Pas pour une question d'argent mais pour le goût de l'aventure, de voyager, et de visiter un monde encore bien inconnu, et qui s'offre à ceux qui savent y consacrer du temps. Des paysages de Sibérie au montagnes de l'Himalaya, ce blog sera là pour vous faire suivre, si vous le souhaitez, mes différents voyages, ainsi que mes expériences surprenantes tout au long de ces 6-7 mois à venir. Dans tous les cas, je vais essayer de vous inciter à faire de même et à se lancer aveuglement dans ce genre de voyage. I'll be doing an exchange of 6 months in the University of Nottingham in Ningbo, China. I could have simply taken a return ticket from Paris to Ningbo or Shanghai (2hours away by train) but no, I decided to take the Transsiberian from Moscow for a journey of 7000km and 6 days to Beijing, then to go backpacking in the south of China for 2 weeks. Not by a money concern, but for the taste of adventure, and the feeling of travelling, and visiting a world still pretty much unknown, which offers itself to the traveller who gives time to its discovery. Eitherway, I'll try to encourage you to do the same and to dive blindly into this kind of trips. Meanwhile, i wish u best and hope you'll like my articles. J'écris donc depuis l'aéroport Ataturk d'Istanbul. Je suis parti à 18h15 après avoir dit au revoir à ma famille et notamment à ma petite soeur, et j'ai embarqué avec Turkish Airlines direction Moscou.

EN : My first article !
As i said, i left yesterday 19th january 2014 towards new landscapes and unbelievable adventure, BUT i still enjoy while I can the comfort and the technology.
That's why I'm writing from Ataturk airport in Istanbul. I left at 6:15pm after saying good bye to my family, in particular to my sister, and I boarded with Turkish Airlines towards Moscow.

FR : Du coup, j'ai une escale de 9h à l'aéroport, je me disais que j'allais galérer et pas pouvoir de bon siège, je m'inquiétais sur les Free Wifi, et sur mon confort,

Finalement, je me retrouve assis au HSBC Premier Lounge avec un Wifi de fou, des fauteuils de Padre, et tout à volonté (entendez café, thé, sodas, alcools, desserts, etc) et une ambiance hyper calme et reposante.

HSBC c'est vraiment la vie.
 

EN : So, I have a stop over of 9 hours at the airport. I told myself first that this will be hard and everything, that i won't get a seat, i was worried about the Free Wifi and the comfort.

And in the end, I find myself sitting on a seat at the HSBC Premier Lounge with a cute Wifi, the Godfather's armchairs, and everything for free (meaning coffee (amazing one), tea, sodas, alcohols, desserts, etc.) and a quiet and resting atmosphere.

FR : Ah oui, en fait je viens de réaliser, ya des gens ici qui me regardent mal, mais c'est peut-être à cause de mes chaussures, pour moi je vois ça comme des grosses chaussures pour lutter contre la neige et le froid, mais en fait ça fait un peu grosses Rangers (je mettrai une photo à l'occasion) ! Du coup je me dis que je m'integrerai surement mieux en Russie..

J'espere aussi revenir un jour à Istanbul pour visiter, ça m'a toujours fait rêver.

Bon dans tous les cas, le vol jusqu'ici fut cool, donc j'espere que celui vers Moscou sera pareil !

Allez, je vais dormir un peu moi, il est 3h30 du matin ici.

EN : Oh yes, I just realised, there's people here looking bad at me, but I suppose it may be because of my shoes, to me i see it as big shoes built to fight the snow and the cold, but that is true that it looks a bit like those big Rangers (i'll upload a pic of it later).

I'd also like to come to Istanbul to visit someday, I always dreamed of it.
